A travelers first aid kit

When packing a first aid kit for travel, use a durable, waterproof container and keep it simple.

Some items to include:


• Thermometer


• Pain reliever (i.e., aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen)


• Insect repellent


• Sunscreen


• Antiseptic ointment


• Adhesive bandages of different sizes


• Sterile gauze pads and adhesive tape


• Antihistamine or allergy medication


• Fine-point tweezers and needle (for splinters)


• Hand wipes


• Cotton balls and swabs


• Moleskin for blisters


• Nasal aspirator and diaper lotion (for baby)


• Personal medications


• Epinephrine injector if prescribed by a doctor

A Fresh Summer’s Evening
