Lakestyle says it all.  Your decision to live on the lake is a statement about what you value in life: friends, family, fantastic scenery and, of course, the water.  This lifestyle allows you to create a place in your life where all of these values intersect.  Spending time with friends on the lake enjoying the scenery is just one of the ways you enjoy the lifestyle you've chosen, Lakestyle was created to help you get the most out of your life on the water.         

The editorial goal of Lakestyle is to create a place in your life where the stress and clutter of day-to-day life melts away, where space leads to a sense of calmness and where beauty allows for inner-peace.  In a way, we'd like to become the "anti-internet".

You will not see any banner ads here and you won't get a scrolling, ever updated, stock ticker.
What you will get is a wide variety of stories and departments that all pass one, and only one, test.  Does this story celebrate the lifestyle chosen by lake and riverfront homeowners? 

This issue of Lakestyle includes stories on enjoying the fireworks over water, discovering what's new in boating and whether or not lakefront homeownership is a good investment.  In addition, we've included a story about Minnesota's Blacklock family.

Throughout the years, the Blacklocks have been synonymous with outdoor beauty.  They have captured sights that few of us will ever see personally. These gifted photographers have long seen, and captured on film, the beauty that has drawn each of us to our homes on the water.
